I lost 120 pounds in 2018 on a Carnivore Diet and maintained that in 2019. In 2020 I struggled with some weight gain and then lost it again in 2021. For the last few years I have been maintaining a stable weight. In December 2022 I had skin removal surgery (tummy tuck). This channel has documented all of that journey and we share how our family lives normal lives and eat a meat based diet.
My husband also has joined me and lost over 100 pounds and eats a carnivore diet. He reversed his type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea, high blood pressure and more by using carnivore and fasting.

As a specialist in gynecology, gynecologic oncology and breast cancer management including surgery, I support fasting and ketogenic diet approach for a wide range of metabolic health conditions of my patients. For example, a recent review paper I co-authored (https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fnut.2020.00021/full) highlights as an emerging evidence that a correct and well-formulated ketogenic metabolic therapy could be helpful as a complementary pre-surgical and post-surgical approach for women with all stages of breast cancer, even metastatic disease. KD reduces glucose availability to cancer cells, systemic inflammation, and, with other biochemical mechanisms, enables the targeting of cancer cells without causing damage to normal cells. A KD may also improve progression-free and overall survival for most breast cancer patients.

Hi, my name is Kevin and I’m a dentist who has been on a lifelong mission to discover how to bring about the highest levels of health and fitness.
This quest has led me to advocating for a meat-based, “carnivore,” diet.
As a dental student, I started “Muscle Science,” a blog where I shared my ideas on how to build muscle and lose fat, strategies I used to become a national level physique competitor.
After “cracking the fitness code,” I discovered I was missing a piece…health.
My research turned to optimizing, not just outer appearance, but also inner health. Health and Fitness… Continue reading

Dr Nelofer Syed obtained her PhD from Imperial College under the direction of Professor Margaret Dallman in 2003. Her PhD training was in the field of molecular immunology and involved the generation of transgenic mouse models to conditionally silence genes of the immune system. After completing her PhD training she persued her interests in translational cancer epigenetics by joining the laboratory of Dr Timothy Crook at the Ludwig Institute of Cancer Research, London. Her main focus here centred around identifying cancer specific epigenetic changes that could be targets for therapy. She continued her research at the Institute of Cancer Research, London, where she played a key role in identifying a gene (Tip60) having a critical involvement in breast cancer development.
In 2008 she returned to Imperial College/Charing Cross Hospital NHS Trust to set up a molecular neuro-oncology laboratory (John Fulcher Molecular Lab) funded by the Brain Tumour Research Campaign (BTRC) to investigate various aspects of brain tumour biology, genetics and epigenetics. Her work has already generated novel data on deranged amino acid metabolism that she hopes will form the basis of a phase 2 clinical trial of arginine depletion as a novel therapeutic strategy for brain tumours. In 2011 she was appointed research lecturer at Imperial College/Charing Cross Hospital NHS Trust and continues to direct her research programme of translational research in brain tumours with a particular emphasis on identifying deranged metabolic pathways to identify novel therapeutic strategies. Her group consists of two senior post-doctoral scientists (Dr Fernando Abaitua and Dr Boling Qiao) and a PhD student (Ms Julia Langer). She has recently attracted funding from the Barrow UK Neurological Foundation, a sister of the Barrow Neurological Foundation in Phoenix, Arizona to appoint a further post-doctoral scientist and PhD student in 2014.

My name is Orsolya. I started out as a trained language teacher (English and Finnish) with a university degree. During the years that my primary task was to look after my young children, I became more and more interested in natural care, a balanced diet, and healthy living as a means to treat different health conditions in the family. Having different health issues myself I decided to educate myself in nutritional therapy.
I have been living in Switzerland since 2005 and started my studies in empirical and general, natural medicine in 2010 at ECN (Ecole du Centre Naturopathique, Genève) specializing in nutritional therapy.
I have always been interested in food, and love cooking and baking. I am passionate about clean, healthy ingredients and optimal preparation methods. I have worked with many clients as a nutritional therapist, certified GAPS practitioner, specialized in sports nutrition, and utilize different kinds of therapeutic diets in my practice according to my client's needs and preferences.....
